Tomorrow is the big day guys, I'm heading back to school and the first thing on my To-Do list is to install the VGA Silencer and play some UT2K4 on my (hopefully) 9700

The 9500 is pretty quiet anyways, but a VGA silencer won't hurt. Good luck on your mod.

It has the L-Shaped RAM!!!!

Also, I don't think this is a Sapphire model, since the PCB is red and it has the ATI fan/heatsink on the GPU.

Here are the numbers from the RAM:
[code:1:83679cfb98]Infineon
DDR SDRAM
HY8250128323C-3.3
A
0312 SUU 16847[/code:1:83679cfb98]

Just an update, but after stumbling upon another R9500NP on "the other site", I quickly snatched it up for $55 from ewitte and it turned out that it had the L-shaped RAM as well. Not only did she boot up, but I know have a 9700Pro

edit to add...NO I will not benchmark it (make up your own scores for my rig) and YES I am having fun playing UT2K4
