I'm trying to help a friend import Adobe pdf documents into Word.
Can you do that? Or, do you have to just buy the full version of Acrobat?

If you can't do it directly, you might be able to use OpenOffice as an intermediate. I think that it has pretty good PDF support and DOC support.
