GEFORCE??

hi,
i was looking at the HIS Hightech 9200 and the GeForce FX5500 and cant decide which is best for me....

let me explain what i need the graphics card for...

i need it to enhance the graphics or looks of the movies that i download and allow me to connect my tv to my graphics card so i can view the movies on my computer, on my tv...

so which one is best for me? other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

For the duties you describe I would definitely go with the 9200.
ATI's offerings just look "prettier" IMO and excel at playing movies. I also must point out their 2D / text is exceptional as well.

If performance doesnt matter, take the ATi. If all you do is watch movies, take the 9200.

Since gaming isn't a priority - both aren't good gaming cards anywayz, I'd go with the 9200 too. For 2D, I find ATi to be better than nV, colors seem to be richer, images seem to be sharper....I'd noticed a diff switching from a 9800Pr o to the 6800U, diff was especially noticeable in text.
