r'aggrostic Level 2 Support Join Date: May 2004 Location: WA Posts: 303	Good or bad time to upgrade O/S? I've been using Win2k since I first built-my-own pc three years ago. Maybe I'm just getting bored with it, or maybe I'm hoping it will run new apps/games even better...but I'm considering the jump to winXP right now. I have no idea how far off the 64-bit edition is, but I won't have a 64bit system until summer anyway. So what do you guys think; yay or nay? If I do upgrade, I think I'll go with xp pro. Newegg has it for $130 iirc--is this a good deal? tia

ExcaliberPC has it for $100 (with HW purchase), and their reseller rating is completely acceptable, although I personally have never purchased from them in the past. Anyone else buy from them? Thanx for the link I guess I'll go ahead and do this, since no one said "NO!! don't get xp". I'll get a new keyboard for my hardware purchase.
