window screen area issues

I am running a multi moniter setup, occasionally when some windows open, they are FAR too large. It looks like it is opening the window to be full able to cover the full resolution of both moniters (3200x1200) however it it opens either in moniter 1 and spanning to my right off screen, or on moniter 2(to my left) at the bottom of the screen with only 3 pixels visable on the screen...the rest is off screen to the left. I don't know why they would do this, and only once in a while. I have set the options in nView to remember where and what size the windows were when I opened them before, but some times they open this way anyway. Maybe I could get a lil help here? I hope above makes sence to you as it is tough to explain, but easy to show.

A picture of the occurance (a recreation as it is intermittant and unpredictable)

as you can see here moniter 2(left) is fine, however moniter 1(right) is filled and the browser, in this example has opened well passed the right most border of the moniter. There is no moniter on the right side of moniter 1.

Open Regedit and do a find (tick "Keys" only) for;

StreamMRU
StuckRects

In the left pane - you'll notice these Keys appear

delete the Values in the Right pane (under "Name" column - right click "Settings" and choose delete

for StreamMRU ...select any value and use SHIFT + Left Click -- or SHIFT + Down/UP arrows to select many or all in right pane) - right click and choose Delete

you'll find most of these keys in this area and others;
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\StreamMRU

** Again Open Regedit and do a find (tick "Keys" only) for;

Streams

here's a pic of the "Streams" key

(click on image to zoom in - also, notice the Path in the Status Bar at the bottom left)
- for this Reg Key, you'll need to manually delete each Sub-Key only (numbered 0-99, or higher) in the Left Pane
