Unhappy Computer stuck in Loop

Hey guys need some help here.

last nite when I shutdown computer everything seemed fine. An hour later my rig turned itself on then went back into shutdown-then back on and then shutdown. To turn it off I had to reach behind it and turn off PS.

This morning same thing. The instant I turned the power supply back on it back into it's circular loop. On up until the bios screen then right back off - then on and right back off after maybe 10 seconds. WTHell???

I'm thinking (Hoping) motherboard battery if I'm lucky...?
Failing power supply?
Power Button on case itself?
Virus?Trojan?Worm?

Thoughts?

Thumbs up

FYI-It was a bad power switch and I bought a new case. The Coolermaster Cavalier. It is beautiful and quiet.

Cool

Thanks. I was shocked to learn I couldn't buy a power switch at 4 different VAR supply houses. I finally found one used at one small shop-paid 4 bucks for it got it home and it was no good either.
That's when I said to hell with it and drove down to Directron and bought the new case for 86 bucks w/350 watt Coolermaster PS included. I removed it of corse and put my trusty Antec True Power 430 in it. I got the Black model.

Evidently, bad power switch seems quite a frequent issue I've come across recently...
