Hey guys need some help here.
last nite when I shutdown computer everything seemed fine. An hour later my rig turned itself on then went back into shutdown-then back on and then shutdown. To turn it off I had to reach behind it and turn off PS. This morning same thing. The instant I turned the power supply back on it back into it's circular loop. On up until the bios screen then right back off - then on and right back off after maybe 10 seconds. WTHell??? I'm thinking (Hoping) motherboard battery if I'm lucky...? Failing power supply? Power Button on case itself? Virus?Trojan?Worm? Thoughts? ![]() |

FYI-It was a bad power switch and I bought a new case. The Coolermaster Cavalier. It is beautiful and quiet.

Thanks. I was shocked to learn I couldn't buy a power switch at 4 different VAR supply houses. I finally found one used at one small shop-paid 4 bucks for it got it home and it was no good either.
That's when I said to hell with it and drove down to Directron and bought the new case for 86 bucks w/350 watt Coolermaster PS included. I removed it of corse and put my trusty Antec True Power 430 in it. I got the Black model. |

Evidently, bad power switch seems quite a frequent issue I've come across recently...
