Hello everyone, first of all I would like to say Hello and I like the forums you have going on,

I have a question that mabye someone might be able to answer for me
I have a Compaq Presario c500 laptop
it has the mobile celeron M 430 processor 1.73ghz
I know it is the socket 478, now my question is
can I replace that processor with Celeron D 325 2.53GHZ socket 478?

the sockets are the same so is the fsb, but is this possible in a laptop?
